2025 might be the year we witness one of the most historic events in gaming, and Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) is at the center of it. Rockstar Games’ newest entry to the iconic franchise is the most anticipated game in recent history. And if recent speculation and rumors are to be believed, it could possibly be the most expensive, too.
If we were going to drop $100 for one singular video game, it would have to be more than good or excellent. And Rockstar agrees. Because way back in 2013, Sam Houser emphasized the belief that if you’re going to take a large sum from players, the product must justify it. And if GTA 6 costs $100, that ideal will face its greatest test.
