Set to hit Prime Video on May 1, 2025, Another Simple Favor is Blake Lively's first movie to be released since last year's It Ends with Us, which sparked all kinds of drama behind the scenes between her and Justin Baldoni. While reports came out stating that Lively was worried that the bad publicity would put an end to her career, it seems she's recovered just fine based on the sequel's Rotten Tomatoes score, which is just two points away from matching that of the original.

Currently sitting at 82% on Rotten Tomatoes, Another Simple Favor is being called a sequel that "manages to defy your expectations" by Collider's Nate Richard, while Mae Abdulbaki from Screen Rant notes that returning director Paul Feig "has managed to make a fun, delightfully ridiculous film," though she admits that it doesn’t necessarily match the charm of the original.
