GeGeGe no Kitaro Anime Crosses Time with New Opening Performed by Ado
As previously announced , the long-running GeGeGe no Kitaro anime is currently celebrating its many generations in a short "best of" series. Starting May 4, My Favorite GeGeGe Generation will add a new opening sequence, featuring a new performance of a classic song. The new opening showcases the evolution of Kitaro's character design, as well as the designs of his co-stars, over the decades. Singer Ado performs a creepy cover of the show's classic theme song, also titled "GeGeGe no Kitaro." Members of the production staff for The Mystery of Kitaro: The Birth of GeGeGe reunited to bring this new opening to life.
