Crunchyroll CEO Finally Breaks Silence on Solo Leveling Season 3

Crunchyroll President Rahul Purini has finally given fans an update on Solo Leveling’s highly anticipated third season.
Solo Leveling Season 2 was easily the most popular anime series in the first quarter of 2025, so fans have been expecting it would only be a matter of time before Crunchyroll and Aniplex seek to capitalize on the massive turnout. Unfortunately, unlike Season 2, which was immediately announced following the finale of Solo leveling Season 1, Season 3's future has been left largely uncertain, with no official announcement that it’s currently in production, let alone being given a release window. However, as Crunchyroll’s CEO has revealed in a new interview, the hold-up is by no means the streaming platform's decision.
