Stephen Amell Played Green Arrow, but He Still Considers Another Series as a ‘Superhero Show’ That Needs a Season 3

Stephen Amell has gone from being a TV guest star to the lead of three massive TV shows. While he got his big breakthrough in the CW’s Arrow, he currently plays the lead in NBC’s Suits L.A., and also headlined the canceled Starz series Heels. The latter has received incredible reviews but was still canceled prematurely in season 2.

As rumors of a potential season 3 making the rounds after Starz licensed the show to Netflix, Amell’s love for Heels has never been hidden. The actor compared the show, which centered around professional wrestling (something in which he has a lot of experience), to his breakthrough Arrow, and his explanation actually makes sense.
