Thunderbolts* Gets Called Out by Comic Industry Icon for 'Special Thanks' Omission

Multiple acclaimed comic book creators lambast the "Special Thanks" credits in Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts*.
In a May 2 X post, acclaimed writer and artist Jim Zub noted that, although he has yet to see the film for himself, he was aware that his "contributions didn't earn a Special Thanks in the credits (which I figured was the case when Marvel didn't reach out about the premiere)." Zub added, "Winter Soldier is there, but the rest is way different." Although numerous creators listed in the film's Special Thanks credits have indeed helmed and created numerous characters who appear in the film, Deadpool co-creator Fabian Nicieza noted that Thunderbolts* might very well mark the first time that none of those mentioned in the Special Thanks credits have actually worked on a Thunderbolts comic.
