Chris Pine to Lead Action Film ‘Run the Night’ for Lionsgate and Hidden Pictures, Sales Launching in Cannes (Exclusive)

Chris Pine is set to star in and produce the upcoming action film “Run the Night” for Lionsgate and Hidden Pictures.
The movie marks the feature directorial debut of Robert Alonzo, a hugely well-respected second unit director and stunt coordinator who had worked on major titles including “Deadpool,” “The Batman” and “The Flash,” to name a few. Lionsgate has acquired worldwide rights to the title and will launch sales in Cannes.
“Run the Night” follows a banker, accused of betraying the Penose (the Dutch mob), who is dumped naked in the heart of Amsterdam with a $10 million bounty on his head. Hunted by the city’s most violent gangs, he must fight his way across the city by dawn to save the lives of his wife and child — a mission that reveals he was never just the money guy.
The screenplay comes from John Glenn and Alex Davidson, with a story by Glenn.
