Charli Xcx Rocks Feathered Headpiece & Thigh-High Boots to Met Gala 2025
Charli Xcx is slaying the red carpet!
The 32-year-old “Von Dutch” singer went gothic glam for the 2025 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 5) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
For the event, Charli rocked a black tailored suit jacket which she paired with a sheer skirt and long train. She accessorized the look with a black feathered headpiece and thigh-high black leather boots.
The Met Gala will focus on menswear and suiting this year with a “Tailored for You” dress code. The event will celebrate the opening of the museum’s new exhibition “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which draws inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. There are six celebrities serving as co-chairs for the 2025 gala, plus 25 more stars who are part of the host committee.
