'Practical Magic 2' Gets Release Date, Nicole Kidman & Sandra Bullock Lend Voices to New Teaser
Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman‘s Practical Magic 2 has a released date!
By the time the sequel comes out, it will have been 28 years after the original. The first film centered around the Owens sisters, who get wrapped in supernatural coverup after one sister drugs and kills the other’s abusive ex-boyfriend, forcing them to reanimate his corpse.
Academy Award-winning filmmaker Susanne Bier has signed on to direct the upcoming sequel. Nicole and Sandra are both producing the film and reprising their roles as Gillian Owens and Sally Owens, respectively. Susanne worked with Nicole on the HBO series The Undoing and the Netflix series The Perfect Couple and she worked with Sandra on the Netflix original movie Bird Box.
