Mark Hamill Would Support Sebastian Stan as Luke Skywalker in New Star Wars Project
While recasting legacy characters in established franchises doesn't always work out well, one popular fantasy casting that's come up with Star Wars fans is the idea of Sebastian Stan playing Luke Skywalker. It's a potential casting that Luke actor Mark Hamill is said to be supporting, though Stan is in no rush to take over the role.
Per Screen Rant, the idea of Stan playing Luke was discussed with Cantina Talk by John Nania, the actor's stunt double. Just recently, Rogue One actor Jimmy Smits had his role as Bail Organa recast for the second season of Andor, putting the discussion ore casting legacy characters back to the forefront with Star Wars fans.
