I Can Not Imagine A$AP Rocky Doing Justice to Billy Dee Williams’ Legacy Like Donald Glover Did in ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’
Billy Dee Williams has been in over a hundred movies for the last six decades, yet there is one role that stands out from the rest: Lando Calrissian. The Baron Administrator from the Star Wars franchise quickly became a fan favorite thanks to Billy Dee Williams’ unmatched charm. Thus, when it was announced that Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, would be taking over the character, there was some hesitation in the fandom.
Luckily, when Solo: A Star Wars Story came around, both critics and fans were pleasantly surprised to see Donald Glover absolutely nail the role and do justice to Billy Dee Williams’ legacy. However, did you know, another high-profile celebrity had auditioned for the role – A$AP Rocky. I’m not sure how I feel about this.
