Smokey Robinson's Attorney Slams Sexual Misconduct Lawsuit as 'Vile, False Allegations'
Smokey Robinson‘s attorney is speaking out against the sexual misconduct allegations made against the music icon.
Earlier this week, a $50 million lawsuit was filed against the 85-year-old singer by four former housekeepers, who alleged Smokey “repeatedly” “raped” them. Smokey‘s wife Frances Robinson was also named in the lawsuit.
On Wednesday (May 7), Smokey‘s attorney Christopher Frost released a statement with People slamming the allegations as “an ugly method of trying to extract money from an 85-year-old American icon.”

The attorney, who is also representing Smokey‘s wife Frances, said that the singer will “respond in his own words” in time, and will soon file a legal response in court.
