Percy Jackson Season 3 Gets a Major Filming Update
Disney+ is moving full steam ahead with Percy Jackson. The streamer is reportedly not wasting any time getting the third season of the acclaimed fantasy series into production.
According to Nexus Point News, casting is already underway for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3, with filming scheduled to begin this July in Vancouver. This marks a change of pace for the Disney+ series, as the second season didn't begin filming until August 2024, roughly six months after the first season had finished airing. However, with the show's main trio of actors — Walker Scobell, Leah Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri — quickly aging out of their roles, shortening the gap between seasons will help prevent their respective characters from looking older than they should (an issue Stranger Things faced with its later seasons).
