For better or worse, Edward Norton is known to fully commit himself to his acting choices. He earned an Academy Award nomination earlier this year, for his supporting performance in the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown. The movie re-established him as the star he'd always been touted as, right from his first-ever big-screen appearance in the courtroom drama Primal Fear, which, incidentally, earned him an Oscar nod as well. Directed by Gregory Hoblit, the movie was headlined by Richard Gere, and released to positive reviews in 1996. It has since developed a reputation as a '90s classic, and is now becoming quite a hit on streaming following its debut on Netflix.

According to FlixPatrol, Primal Fear has accumulated a total of 354 points in May, and is the 16th-biggest film on Netflix for the month so far. The movie is doing particularly well in Canada, several European countries, and the Middle East.
