Heavy Metal Horror-Comedy ‘Deathgasm’ Getting Video Game Adaptation, Graphic Novel
Jason Lei Howden‘s Deathgasm is about to get some love in the form of a video game adaptation, but also an all-new graphic novel. Per Fangoria, the heavy metal horror-comedy will be getting a retro-style 16-bit sidescroller for PlayStation 5, as well as an 80-page graphic novel that will serve as a prelude to the long-awaited upcoming sequel, Deathgasm 2: Goremageddon.
Bit Bot, Howden’s Metalheads Inc., and FreakZone Games will be teaming up to develop Deathgasm: The Video Game, which will be available in both digital and physical formats. The game will centre around the Black Hymn having been unleashed, and as a result, Hell is bleeding into reality.
