When Doom: The Dark Ages launches on May 15, it will give us new weapons, demons, and a whole new story with the Doom Slayer. But one thing that won’t be joining us this time is the ‘I’m too young to die!’ difficulty setting. And as you’d expect, fans aren’t too happy that it’s been changed to a new name.

The easiest setting in the game has been renamed to ‘Aspiring Slayer,’ and fans are just confused by it. Why was it changed when there’s no real change in difficulty, and it’s not like the shift achieves something thematically? In fact, it makes less sense.
