Jeffrey Dean Morgan tells TVLine that co-star Lauren Cohan has been bewildered, too — frequently. “She used to come to me on set almost daily and say, ‘I just don’t understand why you don’t kill her.’

“That was a question that I had, too,” he continues. “So we would ask Eli [Jorné, the series’ creator], like, ‘What the heck?’”
