After having a cameo in The Marvels, Kelsey Grammer shares what it is like to make his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Avengers: Doomsday. One of the big reveals during Marvel Studios' surprise stream announcement was the news that several X-Men characters would be brought back for the huge Phase 6 installment. Following his setup in The Marvels, it was only natural that Grammer's Beast would be one of them, although how he and the other X-Men players fit into Avengers: Doomsday remains to be seen.

During a recent appearance on the Literally! with Rob Lowe podcast, Grammer looked back on his Beast legacy, including how "I heard lovely things about the young man that ended up playing Beast, but I didn’t really watch it. I nursed the hope that one day I’d get to play him again," referring to Nicholas Hoult's run with the character in the X-Men prequels.
