The Konami survival horror game series, Silent Hill, has earned its fair share of fans and accolades over the years. The newest adaptation, Return to Silent Hill, is headed to the big screen, as Cineverse has announced the acquisition of U.S. rights for the newest chapter in the film franchise, per Variety. The upcoming installment, based yet again on Konami’s horror video game series, will have a wide theatrical release in America at a date to be announced. Starring Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson, Return to Silent Hill is directed by Christophe Gans, who is also credited with directing the first Silent Hill movie in 2006.
