Alexander Skarsgård is all set to turn producer for the first time, with Apple TV+’s Murderbot, all set for its release on May 16, 2025. Besides being the lead actor on the show, Skarsgård is venturing into TV production for the very first time, starting a new chapter in his professional journey.
Murderbot is based on Martha Wells’ novel series The Murderbot Diaries. It will be a 10-episode sci-fi comedy, created by Chris and Paul Weitz, famous for their works like Mozart and About a Boy. The series follows the story of a security Android gone rogue, juggling between understanding human emotions and watching his favorite soap operas.
