Akatsuki Games just launched “extreme action-rpg” Tribe Nine on February 20, but a date is already in place for the shutdown. The publisher and developer announced plans to end service for the free-to-play game on November 27. The shutdown announcement means that previously-announced updates—including new playable characters and chapter 4 of the story—will not be released. Tribe Nine is currently available on iOS, Android and PC via Steam. Planned playable characters that have now been canceled include Ichinosuke Akiba and Saizo Akiba. Paid in-game currency sales have also ceased as of May 14.
