By having Lois enter Clark's life at a much earlier point before he became Superman, Smallville was given the chance to explore their dynamic in a refreshing way.

Since they had a photo op together, Durance and Welling recreated Lois and Clark's wedding pose, with a side-by-side comparison from the actual episode to their moment at the convention.
