A question like “Will you marry me?” isn’t always met with a straight answer. Just ask the new group of couples in The Ultimatum: Queer Love Season 2, which launches later this summer.

This season, six queer couples will embark on a journey to decide whether to take the next big step in their relationship. One partner is ready to tie the knot while the other — for a variety of reasons, from fears of commitment to questions of compatibility — is content with their relationship’s loose ends. So an ultimatum is given, and the dating experiment hosted by JoAnna Garcia Swisher begins.
