Who is the most comfortable with ad-supported streaming? That’s one question posed in the latest version of Antenna's State of Subscriptions report, which compiles data through the first quarter of 2025. The survey asked customers about their preference for ads, and it found that across essentially all demographic lines, preferences for ads were quite similar regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, and income.
Key Details: Don’t ask: Older customers are slightly more likely to have never been confronted with the choice of accepting ads. Women or men?: Women are a bit more likely to accept ads with streaming.
