In the past few years, anime series featuring delinquent characters have seen a rise as the genre has become quite popular among fans. These series specifically focus on the Yanki genre that embodies the “lawbreaker” youth and portray the story through their perspective. The most recent addition to this was Wind Breaker by Satoru Nii.

Wind Breaker originally started as a manga in 2021, but it earned real fame when the series got an anime adaptation that was released last year. Currently, the series is on its second season, and fans are loving the unique approach that Wind Breaker brings to the genre.
