Although Jason Statham’s new movie didn’t perform as well as The Beekeeper at the box office, one of his older flicks has made a stunning re-appearance on streaming charts. Statham stars alongside action icon Jet Li in War, the 2007 film following an FBI Agent (Statham) who seeks vengeance against a mysterious assassin (Li) who murdered his partner. War recently began streaming for free on Tubi, and the film has snuck into the top 10, sitting at #8 on the streamer’s charts at the time of writing. The film was not particularly well-received by critics or audiences, earning a “rotten” 14% score from the former on Rotten Tomatoes and a 51% on the audience-driven Popcornmeter. It also grossed only $42 million at the box office against a $25 million budget.
