Glenn Howerton, from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, had a challenge playing his “naive and slightly oblivious” Sirenscharacter for one big reason, and he has now explained why. Netflix’s new soapy dark comedy follows Devon (Meghann Fahy), a sister who becomes concerned about the relationship between her sister Simone (Milly Alcock) and her sister’s boss, Michaela Kell (Julianne Moore). Viewers will recognize many famous faces in the cast of Sirens, including It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Glenn Howerton.

The actor, known for his comedic abilities, plays Ethan Corbin II, the secret boyfriend of Simone. In an interview with People, Glenn Howerton revealed that his character in Sirens was quite difficult to play because of the personality of Ethan. He said this:
