Marvel Casts Major New Character For The McU's Next WandaVision Spinoff
The next WandaVision series, Vision, taps a new star for a major role in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe spinoff. The Multiverse Saga is launching Phase 6 this summer on the big-screen with The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and one of the next MCU TV shows is also on its way, as Paul Bettany's long-time character will finally be getting his own WandaVision spinoff. While plot details are still heavily under wraps, the Vision series will deal with the titular character after the events of WandaVision.
As the upcoming Vision TV show is in the works, Deadline has reported that T’Nia Miller has joined the MCU franchise as Marvel's Jocasta, who is described as "cunning and powerful," having originally been built by Ultron to be his bride before turning against him in the comics. Star Trek: Picard and 12 Monkeys' Terry Matalas is attached as the showrunner for Vision, which is targeting a 2026 launch on Disney+.
