The two main characters from Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto franchise, Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, have proved their strengths and power time and time again within the story. From battling with each other to taking down the biggest villain of the series, the two characters have been considered the epitome of the franchise, but Boruto doesn’t seem to honor this notion.

As fans know, Naruto and Sasuke have been severely undermined in the Boruto story since the beginning. While both of them had roles to play, the development of these roles did not justify the importance of their characters in the narrative. Not only that, but the story nerfed both Naruto and Sasuke in the worst possible way, and that at the beginning of the series itself.
