After watching the first 4 episodes, there were very few fact within this series.(Although it's made clear some of it was made up at the beginning) I say not some but most. It should be under Fiction and not History.
His brothers want to get rid of him, One of them wanted to Kill Samuel while he was there anointing him. It's as if they were applying some portion of the Joseph story to make it more entertaining.
I gave it a fair viewing with 4 episodes, however it was too much fiction for me. I understand adding to it for the sake of making it watchable and entertaining. However for me it was just too much.
The "King David 1977" is a better film and closer to the Biblical text.
