It reminds me of a Boondocks, Proud Family, Bebes Kids type of mashup. I hope they give us more episodes because its a shame that so many of our black shows don't make it. And I like the references to Kevin's standup material with uncle Richard jr. Seems like they will be addressing some real topics like gun violence, politics, and disparities in the inner city.
Its also much better than the good times reboot. The show does have cursing so its obviously not for kids however, kids nowadays watch worse things on Tv. I recognized a few familiar voices like Wanda Sykes and Cree Summer. Because whats an animated show without Cree Summer? However I will say that she has a very distinct voice and usually voices multiple characters in one show so its pretty noticeable. Are they running out of voice actors or something?
