      • Actress
      East of Eden (2008–2009)
In 2001, Lee Yeon Hee won a prize at the 'SM Best Youth Contest' organized by SM Entertainment in Korea and was selected as a trainee of SM Entertainment. She spent her trainee days with Girls' Generation members but decided to pursue her career as an actress, which led her to walk a different path from Girls' Generation members.

In 2001, when Lee Yeon Hee was 14 years old, she appeared in the music video for singer Moon Hee Jun's first solo album, 'Alone,' which marked the beginning of her career. Her first work as an actress was the Emperor of the Sea (2004) where she debuted as the younger version of 'Soo-ae', one of the top actresses at the time. She went on to play supporting roles in films like What's with This Family (2014) and Buhwal (2005) before landing her first main role in One Fine Day (2006) in 2006, and she has since grown explosively.

In the same year, Lee Yeon Hee was dubbed the A Millionaire's First Love (2006) for her innocent appearance in her first screen debut, A Millionaire's First Love (2006) and established herself as an actress with a unique vibe on the screen as well. Afterward, she has built her career by playing the role of a mysterious girl in the movie M (2007) by director Lee Myung Se, a quirky but lovely character in Hello, Schoolgirl (2008) which is based on a webtoon, and Hisako, a geisha with a story in Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island (2015).

She has been also active on the small screen, such as East of Eden (2008), Ghost (2012), Miss Korea (2013), Splendid Politics (2015), Reunited Worlds (2017), The Package (2017), SF8 (2020), etc., receiving great support from fans through her appearance in various works every year.

In 2021, her exclusive contract with SM Entertainment, which has been her agency for a long time, ended and she signed a new contract with VAST Entertainment. Because she had high hopes for her acting career, she devoted more time to acting after moving to a new agency. In the same year, she played King Lear's third daughter, Cordelia, and the clown in 'King Lear,' one of Shakespeare's four great tragedies, a double role cast for all sessions, receiving positive reviews for her first theatrical performance.

After the theater stage, Lee Yeon Hee showed realistic acting through the drama Welcome to Wedding Hell (2022), which tells the realistic story of newlyweds who are about to get married, and the Disney Plus Original RACE (2023), which deals with the lives of publicists, demonstrating her broad acting spectrum.
