      Eric's son Billy 'The Kid' Grady West dies in a misfortunate wheelie bin accident which gets Wolf released from prison to attend the burial. He manages to persuade the security guard, Paul, to let him go to the wake where Wolf rekindles his relationship with Cheryl and Loretta decides that Paul will do nicely in her attempt to lose her virginity and get Pascalle off her back. Wolf tells Jethro he is disappointed in him and then heads back to prison but not before Van tries to break Wolf out. Wolf tells him to go back home and look after Cheryl. Later, Cheryl talks to Jethro about Wolf and she faces up to the fact that if she wants her family to survive, she can't be with him any more. Her marriage is, in effect, over. So the best thing that can possibly happen is that Wolf stays in prison for as long as possible - because she can't bear to tell him.

      Van and Draska are kicked out of the Doslic family home and are also on the run from the law. Despite this, Draska is still determined to carry on with the wedding and enlists Pascalle as her bridesmaid. Cheryl has bottomed out but finds Judd may be Van's saviour. So Cheryl delivers an ultimatum to Wolf, if he uses the evidence against Judd in his appeal, then Van will go to jail - and if Van goes to jail, then Cheryl won't be waiting for Wolf when he gets out. Wolf is not thrilled at this deal and he puts pressure on Jethro to make sure Van does the right thing. Cheryl enlists Munter to keep Van away from Draska. Cheryl turns up at the Rusty Nail where Van and Draska are having their hen & stag nights and punches out Draska and brings her back to her apartment. As Cheryl drives away Loretta turns up with a knife. Next morning Draska's apartment is raided by the police and she discovers that the stolen money has been ripped out of the mattress. Back at the West home Loretta is a very happy and a rich young woman. Next day, Van still wants to marry Draska. Loretta offers Draska the money she stole to jilt Van which she does after all the Wests object to the wedding. So the series ends with a West no-wedding party. Wolf's home; Judd and Cheryl have parted; Van is a free man; Pascalle is in the sack with Kurt and Loretta is still despairing of her family.

      Sparky is facing jail on a very serious arson charge. Wolf hires Jethro as his attorney. Jethro can't win unless a witness can prove Sparky was elsewhere and therefore unable to have start the fire. Wolf pressures Van to be the witness. Van reluctantly agrees. On the day when he has to give his statement, Munter who is only trying to help, gives Van his mum's special cookies. Everything is about to go to hell, because Jethro discovers how baked Van is. So they change clothes and their places, like they always do when there is a crisis. Luckily the prosecutor turns the judge against himself and the case is dismissed due to lack of evidence. Sparky walks free. Wolf is very pleased with Jethro and offers him a cut in the new job he's planning. Hoochie Mama's business gets threatened when an unsatisfied male customer injured himself putting on one of the women's pair of knickers. He wants legal process, Cheryl is very concerned, but Tracy reckons it'll go away if it's ignored. Pascalle impatiently waits Hayden to propose because according to her all the signs are there.

      During the first Hoochie Girl competition hosted at the Rusty Nail, Van bumps into Aurora, his high school fling. After pronouncing Aurora the winner of the contest, Van finds her and tries to get some answers about his broken heart. Turns out on his 16th birthday Van saw Aurora in bed with Jethro, while she was assuring Van of her true feelings for him. However, Aurora runs without an explanation. Van continues his obsession with her as he picks up the g-string Aurora dropped after she ran away. He is determined to see her again but doesn't know how to find her. Pascalle remembers Aurora and shares that she joined the motorcycle gang The Horsemen. Aurora is his leader, Tyson's girlfriend. Van and Munter arrive at the Horsemen headquarters, where it's pretty obvious they can't get in. But Van finds a way - to deliver some pizzas. Successfully in, he finds Aurora in the kitchen and they straighten all out. Turns out she never knew that she rooted Jethro instead of Van. Now that all is clear, Aurora tells Van she never stopped loving him. The conversation is interrupted by her huge boyfriend, Tyson. Everyone at home is shocked when Loretta starts to feel nauseated all the time. She isn't pregnant, nor sick, then what? Ted enlightens his favorite granddaughter - Loretta is jealous of Pascalle and in love with Hayden. The Hoochie Mama squad meet with the very rich Andrew Coddington on Tracy's advice. He takes an interest in their business. But what exactly?

Of course, being Wests, this 'help' isn't without an element of self-interest. Pascalle decides to become a stripper at The Champagne Club on the advice of club owner Robby who tells her it will get her modeling contracts. Van goes to Wolf about Cheryl who is less than sympathetic and is more keen to set up Van on another 'dodgy' job. Van also has his problems with Mrs. Hong and Mr. Hong's daughter Tracey which could lead to Mr. Hong doing great damage to Van if he's caught. Loretta tries to generate income by selling bootleg pre-release DVD's, bought from the Hongs, through the Video Hut. Later, when Jethro stands in for Van on a delivery to the Hongs, because Van is on the 'dodgy' job with Sparky, he meets Tracey who mistakes him for Van and they end up sleeping together - Tracey is none the wiser about which twin she has sex with. Meanwhile, Sparky is knocked unconscious by Loretta as the 'dodgy' job turns out to be burning down the Video Hut. The next day Mr. Hong announces to Van and Tracey that Suzy is pregnant - it's Van's (although Mr. Hong doesn't suspect). Loretta confronts Pete about the attempted arson job. He admits it so Loretta takes over running the Video Hut. Cheryl livens up as she's super proud of her kids but her kids cannot quite look her in the eye.

      It's Loretta's 16th birthday and everyone is preparing for the party. The birthday girl, however seems preoccupied with the scheme how to drop out of school for good. Wolf and Cheryl don't support Loretta in that decision. Cheryl is concerned about Loretta and she is completely baffled at Rochelle and Kasey's opinion of her daughter. Pascalle has no more interest in the Videohut. Her whole attention is on her boyfriend Hayden. She advises Loretta to get herself expelled. So Loretta behaves pretty badly and Ms Darling grants her wish. Now she is free to spend all her time at the Videohut, where she discovers Jools, a homeless girl, who lives and works there, thanks to Pascalle's good heart. Meanwhile Wolf has different plans for his youngest child - he enrolled Loretta into the private school of St. Ignatius. Loretta refuses to go but her parents force her. T get out of that nightmare Loretta suggests to the homeless Jools to take her place at school. Van and Munter do a big score with a truck, loaded with lobsters. Van reckons this scheme will grant him Wolf's approval once again.

Thanks to Judd's generous heart and the payout he got for leaving the police force, he is ready to buy everything the Wests need. Eric informs Wolf about all that's happening with his family. Wolf has big plans to show everyone, who is still the boss. So he arranges a meeting with Judd. Pascalle is determined to reconstitute her virginity, but it seems the surgery is expensive. To earn some extra cash she gets an offer from Hayden to be the leading lady in his film, which Loretta will direct. Loretta isn't keen on the idea of her sister being a porn star. Van and Aurora are getting ready for their engagement party. The police station is visited by Wolf, who turns himself in and apparently has a lot to say. After that Judd is quickly arrested. The police caught him with an envelope full of cash, left on the seat of his car. Judd swears the money isn't his, that he found them there, but his former colleagues don't believe his words.

Munter is on the case and while trying to grasp Draska's scheme, he also has the responsibility to keep Van away from Draska at all costs. Hoochie Mama is a success but it's not making any profits. Mrs Doslic wants to invest in the company but Cheryl is quite reluctant and is trying to get a bank loan. That option goes to hell thanks to Wolf. So Hoochie Mama' brand new investor is surprisingly, Tracy Hong. Cheryl shares Munter's opinion regarding Draska and tries to help him. Meanwhile, Loretta's DVD operation is in danger. She has to turn to Pascalle to sit behind the counter of the Video Hut. Because of the recent blow in her modeling career, Pascalle turns into a bully to the geeks and people who don't pay their late fines. That's how she discovers Hayden Peters, to whom instead of yelling over unpaid fines, Pascalle gets the hots for.

      The Wests face a new enemy, a vindictive and spiteful police detective, Monica (Judd's ex-wife). After the police raid, the house appliances are repossessed. Cheryl has no choice but to turn to Eric for help. At the Galeria she finds the new boss, none other than Falani. Eric fled because he was also harassed by Monica. Later while Cheryl and Judd are having a drink at the pub, Monica turns up. There's been a little misunderstanding, which the detective blows out of proportion and Judd is arrested again. Meanwhile Van is worried and confused, when he sees a closing down sign at the door of the Lucky Dollar. Mr. Hong reveals that he received an offer for the shop from Jethro. Loretta is mortified over the possibility of hiring Van at the Videohut, so she suggests he must fight to save the Lucky Dollar. Munter shares some light on Van's problem, when he discovers that the entire block is going to be bowled. When Van visits the council to complain, a woman gets very familiar with him. Shocked, he tells Munter, who unravels that the lady must have mistaken Van for Jethro. Now it's clear that Jethro has a mole in council and is in business with a very powerful client - Gary Savage.

      Ted is banished from the Janet Frame due to his bad behavior and has to go back home. Cheryl finds out that isn't his only offense. He also has been harassing Judd in jail. Only Loretta takes her Grandpa's side, who has been banned from home by Cheryl. Hayden discovers accidentally the leading male for the film. None other than Munter, who apparently has huge potential. Loretta doubts that Munter will accept the part. When Munter finally understands why he's the object of Hayden's attention, he starts to fear for Loretta's morals. Munter is so scared that he says he'll tell everything to Cheryl. Meanwhile Aurora is working two jobs to raise enough money for the wedding. Van's part in that is saving money on drugs. So he grows dope in Ted's caravan. But that doesn't last and he has to find dope elsewhere. Surprisingly Van finds a new dealer, who happens to be Tyson, stuck in a wheel chair and his devoted assistant is Aurora.

      It looks like Van and Aurora's fairy tale has hit rock bottom. Van is very jealous of Aurora being there for Tyson. Munter is trying to calm him down, but it seems useless. Cheryl is getting worried. Things aren't getting better, when Aurora's mum, Pam and her lover Mel drop in to see her and meet the future in-laws. Loretta is very frustrated, when Mel is giving her looks all the time. Van and Pam don't seem to be getting along. Pam is entirely at Tyson's side. Grandpa is feeling very chipped and the reason is that he's been spending a lot of time with hooker. Loretta isn't happy at all. Cheryl is tired of Pam's rudeness and kicks her out. She also urges Aurora to choose between Van and Tyson. The bad news aren't over for Van, who gets fired by Mr. Hong. Later he stalks Aurora, who is again at Tyson's house. That does it - Van tells the cops about Tyson.

Meanwhile Cheryl does her best to smooth things with Pam, so the Wests could attend the funeral. But devastated Pam and Tyson are reluctant and refuse to grand Cheryl's wish. Hayden helps Van to visit Aurora at the funeral parlor. Maybe that would snap him out of his idea that Aurora is still alive. When Van sees her in the coffin, his entire world breaks down. Munter is doing everything for his best friend, but things go too far, when Van decides to bury Aurora the Viking-style. They break into the funeral home, steal a coffin, only to discover later that it's of another person, not Aurora. Cheryl is still trying to get Judd out of jail. Te lawyer is useless, she turns to Jethro, who introduces her to his partner, Gary. The Wests are planning to crash the funeral, when they discover Van is missing. After taking the wrong body, wondering alone at night, he ended up at Jethro's office. Grandpa has forsaken Van after dobbing on Tyson and unleashing the family curse. Munter and Cheryl organize a Viking tribute in the back yard for Aurora. Now Van can say good bye properly, as well as everybody else, who could be at the actual service.
