- The film project De Geest van de Pierson NU is a documentary about the impact of Nijmegen's activism now and during the Pierson actions 40 years ago. We see people who are just as young as the people who were active in the squatters' movement back then and reflect with both groups on the problems surrounding activism, housing and other urgent social issues and how this has (or has been) an influence in everyone's lives. In addition to squatters and people who are involved, as students or in politics, with the housing coalition, we follow activists who are committed to the refugee, gender diversity, environmental and Black Lives Matter movements, among others.
