When one of sex therapist extraordinaire Linda's patients turns out to be harboring the plans to a top-secret government computer, both the KGB and the CIA attempt to enlist Linda in their efforts to steal the data.

A TV reporter is murdered when he is eavesdropping on a secret Finnish-Soviet conference. The National Broadcasting Corporation enlists the help of police lieutenant Palmu, who comes out of retirement for this case. However, some have their doubts about the loyalities of Palmu, seeing that he was spotted in a diplomatic soiree in Moscow just a few weeks before the murder.

When Scott can't find his father, he first calls Control but they give him the brush off. He later finds a message from his father telling him to contact a man named Dyson who also worked for the Agency and like McCall wanted out. Dyson tries to find him and thinks that the KGB might be involved, so he breaks out another former Agency operative, Harley Gage to help him. They discover that the KGB has nothing to do with happened to McCall.

With McCall at his side, Kostmayer tries to help his brother, a priest, who refuses all assistance after being wounded in a drive-by shooting that kills a parishioner. They soon determine that Father Kostmayer has become privy to a KGB assassination plot revealed through the confession of the murdered man.

Castillo is forced to choose between friendship and duty when Jack Gretsky, his best friend from his days in Vietnam with the CIA, reemerges from the criminal underground complete with a Russian wife who is being pursued by the KGB.
