A treacherous baron enters the picture, invited by Count Hubert to the courtship and, in fact, to the engagement feast, and it is clear that nothing good can come of this infernal mixture. Especially when Ondra, a bit recklessly, promises the Count that he will build a brand new lavish castle for Rézinka by the next morning. That's a very difficult task for a devil like Matej.
- Four swimmers - water polo players find themselves at the bottom of their existence after losing a match. So desperate that they even find themselves living at the bottom of their emptied pool. To save their "dignity" they start a questionable business "Husband to rent" fixing home items for local housewives. But as time will show the household items are not the only things they end up repairing.
- Pedantic policeman Frantisek (Ondrej Vetchý) wants to bring up his three daughters with a firm hand. He would like to see the girls coupled with capable and successful men, but instead they have the talent to find the opposite. One of them is constantly trying to get pregnant, second one is only dating exotic fools and the third one is expecting a baby without knowing who is the father. Frantisek and his wife (Simona Stasová) always spend their vacation at the local lake, although the wife is dreaming of the seaside. One day she meets a bohemian writer with slightly suicidal tendencies (Miroslav Táborský) and an attractive colleague with Spanish roots (Kristína Peláková) walks into Frantisek's office and things get moving.
- Smartened up and wearing bowler hats, three youths - Eman, Oskar and Milda - drive up to the town hall registry office in the Cleopatra, their antiquated Walter car, just as their freshly married friend Petar comes out of the building with his wedding guests. Their congratulations, or rather condolences, make clear what they think of his "betrayal", since earlier they had all made a promise never to resign themselves to women. They later invite the apprentice gardener Pída to join the party, but only after he makes a solemn promise that he will never give up his freedom for a girl. Milda, the student, is secretly smitten with Olina, but has to hide his feelings. The holidays are approaching and the party ride off to the Orlík reservoir in their Cleopatra.
- Emil Tuma inherited a large villa in the suburbs from his uncle. He is happy to go on his first tour, but doesn't come out surprised. In the villa, he meets a number of strange people who carry out various activities that Tuma does not understand. Every now and then one of them slips an envelope of money into his hand. Gradually, however, Tuma begins to get his bearings and realizes that his uncle has been providing the villa's premises to various crooks who, together with him, have created a company with the motto "Every crown is good". The villa is the venue for spiritualist seances, a modernist "painter" is patching up pseudo-artworks, and a rickety piano is a source of profit. Worst of all, the villa is also used to rob the unfortunate who need an apartment and are willing to pay with their hard-earned savings. With help of his wife and that of a teacher from a neighboring kindergarten, Tuma tries to deal with the crooks.
