- Elizabeth Hurley hosts a one hour documentary on the history of the James Bond film series to tie in with the seventeenth Bond film, GoldenEye.
- Saffy is visited by an ante-natal midwife who takes a dislike to Eddy, causing her to have nightmares in which the baby--who resembles the midwife--is trying to stab her. Patsy's contribution to the pregnancy is to give Saffy advice on abortions. The elegant "Plum" arrives for the women's book club but the main topic tends to be celebrity gossip magazines and little is accomplished. But when the baby's father John arrives and Eddy sees that he is a Black student Saffy met in Africa who now lives in London, she is overjoyed to be the grandmother of a mixed-race baby.
- Bo and Marshall, who now run a Christian television station, inadvertently reveal that Eddy's long-lost son Serge is gay and living in New York City. Patsy's heading there for Fashion Week, so Eddy accompanies her to the Big Apple. After a visit to GUFF, a gay drop-in center, they locate Serge, but for their information they must pretend to be Lesbians celebrating a civil wedding. Eddy is disappointed to find that, like Saffy, Serge is a shy, bookish type, but she hits it off with his extrovert boyfriend Martin. The quartet "does" Fashion Week and visits a bar, which Patsy burns down after dancing on the counter. Returning to London after their arrest for that incident, Eddy makes up with Saffy but reveals that she has disowned Serge and adopted Martin.
- After losing an award at a PR event, Edina fights to regain her standing in the industry, particularly in order to best her rival, Claudia Bing.
- Bubble accidentally sends most of Eddy's clients' details to rival Claudia Bing, who poaches them--including Twiggy, who is annoyed because Eddy's mother has been stalking her, confusing her with Madonna. Eddy sacks Bubble, but ends up back in business thanks to Katy Grin's unlikely intervention. Meanwhile, Saffy encourages Eddy to attend Menopausal Anonymous with Patsy, who has been diagnosed with osteoporosis; of course, Eddy is rude and disruptive. After the meeting, Saffy has a weird dream in which Patsy announces that she is pregnant from Mick Jagger's sperm, which she bought at an auction.
- Eddy has installed a panic room in the house in case of burglars, but she panics herself when Patsy brings home a demanding Minnie Driver, whom she is hoping to dress in a collection of designer clothes and become her stylist. After Patsy wrestles Eddy for a necklace Minnie wants, they fall into the panic room and manage to get themselves locked in while Minnie makes off with the clothes. After playing Trivial Pursuit with Saffy through the video camera, they get out and are surprised to learn they have only been shut in for a short while and not for days.
- After quarterback Tom Brady witnesses Peter pummeling several people in order to get to the bathroom, he recruits him to play for the New England Patriots.
- Phoebe has trouble bonding with her half-brother Frank when he comes to visit. Joey attempts to build an entertainment center. Ross is challenged to name the five celebrities he'd like to sleep with most.
- After realizing that casual dating isn't for her, Rory tries to break things off with Logan, causing him to agree to see her exclusively. Logan's family isn't happy about the match despite Rory's breeding. Luke's patience is tried as he takes over as temporary chef at the Dragonfly while pregnant Sookie is ordered to bed rest, but Sookie has trouble giving up control of her kitchen. Meanwhile, Paris finds out where Doyle has been all weekend.
- Jackson has his hands full between Sookie's food cravings and his town selectman duties. Lorelai invites Christopher to lunch, but Rory tells him off and asks Lorelai what Luke thinks of her and Christopher having lunch. Emily decides she's still a viable commodity and asks Lorelai to help her start dating.
- Tom has a one-line walk-on part as a lollipop man in 'Salmon', a surreal Japanese play supposedly starring Tom Cruise and staged in a converted fire station. After he and Linda have swapped school stories in the dressing room, where he breaks a sink, he forgets his one line and, billed for the sink, he and Linda must escape down the fire pole.
- In the series finale, the Gunmen team up with Morris Fletcher, the sleazy Man in Black from Dreamland (1998), to find the person who stole the list of false flag operations. The cliffhanger ending is resolved in Jump the Shark (2002).

- With the divorce papers still not through, Donna and Gaz are unsure if they have done the right thing, but when Donna sees that Wesley is making an effort to fit into Runcorn life, she knows who she wants. Unfortunately, Wesley gets Tasered by Janet, who is desperate to arrest somebody, with the result that she gets arrested herself--and fired. Meanwhile, Louise quizzes her baby on I.Q. questions and mathematics, wanting to be a better mother than Janet.
- After Saffy berates her for being lazy and useless, Eddy decides to impress her daughter by representing her favourite French film star, screen legend Jeanne Durand, and booking the Albert Hall for her to give a concert. Unfortunately Jeanne either cannot or will not sing and Bubble must save the day. Mother/daughter harmony is restored even if the future looks bleak for Jeanne's Carnegie Hall debut.
