A Kurdish female battalion prepares to take back their town from extremists.

Bakur (North) is a documentary that invites its audience to reflect on a war that has been continuing for decades and gives an insightful look on its main subject, the PKK. The film follows the lives of the guerilla in three different camps on the Kurdish region (north) that lies within Turkish borders.

Gholam-Hossein Saedi was an acclaimed Iranian author, playwright and screenwriter with an oeuvre that contains more than thirty publications. Freedom And Other Maladies depicts Saedi's restless passion and heartbroken demise based on letters that he wrote over the years as well as interviews with his close friends and associates. The documentary film focuses on the last four years of Saedi's life in Paris, at the peak of his suffering, painfully aware that he would die in exile.

In Koorestan, Fran initially is homesick despite the fact that the Sultan bears a striking resemblance to a certain Broadway producer. But she begins to love the place. In return, the Sultan seems to love Fran as he asks her to stay forever. Fran politely declines, but the Sultan seems to take whatever measures he deems necessary for Fran to stay. Maxwell decides to head off to Koorestan to see Fran. Upon his arrival, the Sultan denies Fran's suspicions. But there is no denying what Maxwell has to say to Fran.
