- Professor Wilson discovers a lost Akita puppy on his way home. Despite objections from his wife, Hachi endears himself to the family and grows to be Parker's loyal companion. As their bond grows deeper, a beautiful relationship unfolds.

A girl bunny with a cold finds Stinky's hat and returns it to him. They play: he pushes her on a swing. This attracts a bobcat with a black stereotype voice. The bobcat chases, but runs away when encountering Stinky. He strips off several layers of shirt, then finds a discarded perfume bottle, douses himself, and goes to douse Stinky. This neutralizes the smell, and he resumes chasing. The bunny runs home to her mother, but the rabbit mother throws Stinky out. Stinky runs home to his mother, who confronts the bobcat, which runs away. Now Stinky gladly joins his siblings in song.
- While the family is on a picnic, a skunk sneaks on board the bus and winds up spraying them. They try the best they can to get rid of the odor without much success; even bathing in tomato juice. However, things go from bad to worse when Reuben informs them that they have been requested to play at a local hospital to entertain some of the children that are patients there.
- Harold is upset after seeing Bonnie in another guy's car; he fears she's ditched him. The other dude turns out to just be her cousin and a fashion-designer; he's merely helping her to obtain new "hip-style" clothing to impress Harold with.
