Branches and Bones is the film document of a dance workshop interacting with nature devised and choreographed by Julie Schmidt Andreasen, with a mixture of untrained performers from the public and professional dancers. Shot on location at the rarely captured Vallø Castle in Denmark. It was shot over two days in the summer of 2014 and the film screened throughout January 2015 at two Danish libraries. A Danish version of the film has also been created entitled Grene og Ben.
