City Confidential features real life stories in a wide variety of American cities. While many of these stories deal with murder, some also deal with attempted murder, and public officials caught in compromising situations, among other things. On November 29th, 1992 Sara Tokars is shot to death in front of her two young children by a man who had accosted them at their home in Marietta, GA. After her death her husband Fred Tokars, who was a defense attorney, started to exhibit strange behavior which led investigators to take a closer look at his possible involvement. In 1992, Sara Ambrusko was held hostage by a man in her home with her two children and forced to drive the man and the children into the night. Ambrusko wrecked the car and was shot, and her husband Fred Tokars was the main suspect when his secret life was revealed.
