Volume 47 is a strong show. Kana and LuFisto gel as a tag team, the Canadian Ninjas have a great match with Mia Yim and Davina Rose, and Kellie Skater's crowd support continues to grow, even though she's still a heel here. The tag team titles match is clunky in spots but pretty exciting overall. Courtney Rush starts her short-lived tag team with Sara Del Rey. But the big story is Saraya Knight, who not only gets disqualified in her match for the second time that weekend, but terrorizes Cheerleader Melissa's title challenger Jessie McKay, telling her to "finish the job. " The aftermath of that main event is intense and sets up Volume 48 very well.

"A decent event, but what really makes it memorable is the Cheerleader Melissa/Saraya Knight storyline that had been building since Volume 45. Knight suffered a career-threatening injury in a match vs. Melissa back in 2007, and no promoter had wanted put them back in the ring together since then. SHIMMER rolled the dice, using the real-life heat between them to fuel an excellent angle. When Saraya isn't stalking Melissa or terrorizing the fans, we also get buildup for younger stars like Shazza, Rhia, and Athena, plus a four-way match for the Tag Titles that turned out to be Sara Del Rey's last match in SHIMMER."
