Brandon is a college student who is trying to get into the movie business. His father is the Vice Chancellor at the same college, and doesn't believe in his son's foolish endeavors. Recruiting his new roommate Ed Swoggle, Brandon seeks to cast beautiful student Stevie in a movie without her even knowing they're making one. Along the way, he runs afoul of a jock named Mark and his karate Sensei, while making a friend in art professor Cara. Ed doesn't know whether or not he is movie star material, but he'll have to take Brandon's advice and "Just Act Cool".

"Rest Area" is a horror anthology revolving around a waterway camp site which has a killer named GG stirring up trouble.

"The Hook" is a two-part detective story based on 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'Peter Pan'. Alice is a girl who is drawn into a gang called the White Rabbits. Wendy is a detective who encounters Peter Pan, the leader of the gang The Lost Boys.
