But Marisol's grandfather, who hates the mother for "stealing his son," wants to meet his granddaughter, so he asks her uncle to bring her to Italy for the summer. When she arrives, the old man and his servants think she is a happiness-bringing angel. As the summer goes by, the old man comes to love her very much. Will he try to keep her from returning to Spain?
