- Set during the 2008 Mumbai attacks, it follows the staff of Bombay General Hospital and their travails during the fateful night of November 26, 2008.
- Love, over the years has been defined as an emotion that brings out the best in people, the very thought of the person you love will bring a smile to your face, butterflies in your stomach and instant longing to be close to them. But is that all it is? A happy emotion? Instead of being unconditional, unbreakable and unquestionable - sometimes, love fails only to be reborn again, it breaks bonds to forge new ones and it destroys lives but still brings hope. This relationship drama explores the lives of 3 couples - all coincidentally named Pawan and Pooja who at different stages of their lives discover that their love is indeed conditional, breakable and questionable.
- A simple young guy leads a responsible, boring, and colorless life until he bumps into the 'girl next door'. Now his life is colorful but complicated.
- The Kalras, a couple in their 60s, still very much in love, attend a party. Attending the same party are the Mehras struggling with marital conflict. Meanwhile, fashionista Pooja is asked to suggestively endorse a brand by Pawan.
- Stunned by the demise of his best friend, Pawan Kalra creates a 'regret list'. The Mehras agree to 'swing' once, despite reservations. Young Pawan and Pooja are hired for a reality show where they have to live-in together.
- Pawan wonders if his son Raj has done the right thing in breaking a girl's heart. After the Mehras get embarrassed at a PTA meeting, they drift further apart. Seeing Pawan's relationship with his family, Pooja confronts her own family.
- The Kalras drive down to Sula Vineyards, but complications arise when Pawan's prostate acts up. Meanwhile, the Mehras start actively 'seeing' other people. After giving up his virginity to Pooja, young Pawan finds out something shocking.
- Pooja takes an instant liking to Mehak, only for a shocking secret to be revealed. The Mehras decide to drop the idea of swinging. Young Pawan and Pooja decide to take revenge on Vishal by orchestrating an elaborate con.
- Neerja warns Pooja about the consequences of messing around with her family. Pawan Mehra finds out a friend has been caught up in a nasty public scandal. Young Pawan stands up for Pooja at her father's death anniversary.
- Pooja Kalra finds an unexpected guest has arrived home. The Mehras fight and tell each other what they truly feel. Pawan (young) is forced to adjust with Pooja's old flame Raool, who has been placed in the same house as them by Vishal.
- Mehak's unexpected visit to the Kalra home becomes complicated, when Pawan asks her to stay. Pawan (middle) begs Pooja for a reconciliation. Pawan sees Pooja's closeness with Raool and gives her a chance to come clean.
- After Mehak leaves the Kalra house, Pooja fights with Pawan. Pawan's father convinces Pooja to give their marriage one last chance. Young Pawan decides to take some drastic action to end his misery.
- Mehak and Raj set out to find Pawan when a man named Pawan has committed suicide. Pooja confronts Pawan about how their marriage is falling apart. Pooja teams up with Bitti to find Pawan.
- Diya, Sujata and Ahaan arrive at Bombay General Hospital as the new residents. We discover that their assigned mentor, Dr. Kaushik, is leaving soon for another hospital, in a bid to save his marriage with Ananya. While they process this news at the hospital, ten young men take hold of Mumbai in a horrific way. As several bodies start coming in, the residents witness the scale of what is to come.
- While the situation in the city worsens, everyone begins to worry about the safety of their loved ones, especially Kaushik and Diya. Kaushik’s wife, Ananya, works at Palace Hotel and is there that night organizing an event for Diya’s father. Ahaan is thrown into a stressful situation and struggles to deal with it. Chitra, the social services director, worries about Paramjeet, a long time patient.
- Following her story, Mansi and the other reporters have a near miss at Metro as the terrorists open fire at them. Kaushik and Diya worry about their families. Mayank is brought in with injuries. Sujata tends to him. Top cops Kelkar and Savarkar are brought in critical condition along with two terrorists. Kaushik tries to save them.
- Ahaan confides in Chitra over his past. Ananya struggles to deal with the panicked guests. Mansi reaches the hospital, trying to get her breaking story. Samarth refuses to help her. Chitra manages to diagnose Paramjeet just in time.
- Mansi finds herself going the distance for her story. Kaushik deals with the consequences of not being able to save ATS chief Kelkar. Ananya starts evacuating the guests in small groups. Subramaniam and Tawde deal with a leak in the hospital, as sensitive news starts getting out. Vasu thinks he knows the culprit but struggles to communicate it to anyone. The night takes a turn for the worse.
- Chaos ensues inside the hospital as the gunshots and destruction reach BGH. Tawde and his team try to contain it. Subramaniam and Kaushik realize they’re on their own and begin evacuating patients with Chitra's and Mrs. Cherian's help. Mansi faces the wrath of the hospital staff over irresponsible journalism.
- The siege at hospital rages on as the terrorists regroup inside a ward. Back-up finally arrives as Tawde readies to neutralize the terrorists. Kaushik and his team must deal with an immediate surgery of one of their own. Chitra is forced to face her fears. Ananya goes back into the hotel to evacuate the remaining guests.
- After a terrifying night, the siege finally comes to an end. Kaushik and the staff are lauded for their courage. Ananya and the NSG manage to evacuate the guests despite the terrorists' best efforts. Mansi realizes the extent of what she may have caused. The city of Mumbai picks up the pieces and continues to march on after the harrowing three days of the attacks. Life goes on at BGH.
