'Mysteriet på Bornholm' is the continuation of 'Det Forsvundne Ravkammer', a fun action-adventure series for children and childish souls. This time the friends are confronted with old Bornholm superstitions and myths.

During a visit to the Oluf Høst Museum in Gudhjem, an expensive painting is destroyed - Silje is blamed, and she asks the three friends, Charly, Niels and Tania, for help to prove her innocence. But Charly is reluctant.

Niels, Tania and Silje returns to the Museum to check out the crime scene. Charly went to the old lighthouse, where he found some old books about underground creatures, but has to flee when he is discovered by the lighthouse keeper.

Charly discovers that the lighthouse keeper is not dangerous and knows about the legend of 'The Underworld' and a possible treasure hidden on the island. At the museum, an examination of the destroyed painting reveals that it is a forgery. Everyone is shocked. Tania and Niels find decisive evidence of who may be the culprit.

The friends come up with a plan to prove who the guilty is. Tania finds the courage to show Niels her feelings. A car chase leads Silje and Charly to an old cave, which they choose to explore, but it goes wrong and they have to flee.

Silje and Charly have to take the cable car over Lake Opal to escape Djarnis and end up in the cold water. Tania and Niels find new clues in Djarni's car, and he threatens them. They tell Bodil everything, and it dawns on them that they have suspected the wrong person.

Silje discovers that Bodil is playing a double game. Djarnis keeps Tania and Niels trapped in the cave. The lighthouse keeper realizes that Bornholm's survival is in danger, and together with Charly he tries to alert 'De Underjordiske' without success, and Charly has to take matters into his own hands.

The atmosphere between the friends is bad - everything has gone wrong and now they are trapped - chained to the rock. Charly wants to ask 'The Underground' for help, but the others are still reluctant. Meanwhile, Bodil and Djarnis move further into the cave in search of the treasure, but the way there is dangerous.

Bodil and Djarnis reach the treasure inside the cave and the friends catch up with them. But Bodil is cunning and escapes them - they cannot possibly reach her. Fortunately, Charly comes up with a smart idea to save Bornholm from sinking into the sea. But is it too late?
