In 2008, after my mother (a public school counselor for 30 years) lost her savings and had to come out of retirement in her mid-60's to look for a job, I came up with this project as a way to draw more attention to an issue that has been glossed over. I took a 6 month survey to find out who actually works on the street of Wall and then I assigned performers to positions proportionally from this data. Monday morning, 7am, 50 performers lined up down all of Wall Street and began working their daily profession while removing their clothes, Wall Street exposed!
