  • The leading character in this two-part picture, directed by W. Christie Cabanne, is a sky pilot who has the qualities of a popular hero. There is nothing novel in what he does nor in the plot of the story, except in his astonishing method of rescuing the wayward brother of the girl from suffering with his evil companions. It is not a religious picture and has no moral tone to speak of, but depends on the central character, an earnest but rough and ready minister. It will be liked, for it doesn't drag and is pleasingly put on. Fred Burns plays the leading role. - The Moving Picture World, February 21, 1914
