After the front page of the Völkischer Beobacher attacked supposed disrupters and "Jewish impudence" during the Berlin premier in July 1935, SA men carry out violent excesses against Jews on the Kurfürstendamm. Jewish customers are thrown out of several cafés and a number of Jewish-owned shops are demolished.
This was the first film not made in Germany that was singled out for praise by the Nazi leaders, first by Goebbels and later by Hitler himself.
Debut of actress Karin Albihn.
