Bela Lugosi, Vince Barnett, John Berkes, Lew Kelly, Wanda McKay, and Tom Neal in Bowery at Midnight (1942)

Trivia

Bowery at Midnight

Edit
A 1942 table model television receiver is prominently displayed atop a filing cabinet in Karl Wagner's inner office, but it is only seen in actual operation in one scene, and is an early example of closed-circuit television.
Due to the widespread popularity of this film's 1949-50 theatrical re-release, TV presentation was postponed until 3/12/51 when Los Angeles viewers got their first look at it on KTLA (Channel 5).
Filming began 8/3/42, the fifth of Bela Lugosi's 9 Monogram features.
A poster for this movie is shown in Spotlight Scandals (1943).
In the background of one scene there is a poster for The Corpse Vanishes (1942) which stars Bela Lugosi. The two movies are together on a Retromedia Blu-ray.
